Charly Bliss Launches Nationwide Tour at Strange Matter

Fresh on the heels of releasing their debut LP, Guppy, last week, New York City’s Charly Bliss began their first nationwide headlining tour at Strange Matter on Wednesday.

At their second visit to Strange Matter in as many years, the quartet shredded a set of new and old favorites to an energetic crowd on Grace St. If their rad performance is any indication, they’re going to have an amazing tour and folks down the road should definitely get to the gig!

Blush Face, quickly approaching the release of their own debut LP in June, recently expanded to a four-piece lineup with the addition Evan Hoffman of Good Day RVA on guitar. The group sounds more lush than ever, and we can’t wait for to hear their recordings!

Majjin Boo got the crowd moving Wednesday and returns to the local stage on Saturday at The Camel alongside RVA favorites Toxic Moxie and Spooky Cool as well as some of our favorite touring pals from Harrisonburg, Illiterate Light. Hell of a lineup, Jet Trails Media!
