Minor Poet Releases Debut LP at Strange Matter

On Saturday, August 26th, Richmond’s Minor Poet released their debut LP And How! to a packed house at Strange Matter with local favorites Blush Face, Sammi Lanzetta and Spooky Cool.

Andrew Carter, backed by Noma Illmensee (Manatree), Jeremy Morris (The Mad Extras) and Micah Head showcased an incredibly engaging set on a lavishly adorned stage complete with red roses, red velvet curtains and ferns aplenty.

Their setlist featured popular singles “River Days” and “Judith Beheading Holofernes” from the debut album and also boasted brand new unreleased material for the final two songs of the evening. Keep up with the band via their Facebook page for details on their upcoming fall tour dates, and jam the debut LP out now on Egghunt Records.
